Troon Village homes
Anyone looking for a modern and exclusive community that highlights Arizona’s natural beauty will be satisfied with Troon Village. This village is a 1400-acre guard-gated golf community made up of 22 divisions that all surround Troon Mountain. Developers of the area strategically preserved the land’s natural beauty, leaving the native vegetation as it was before the community was built back in 1986. The altitude of this location is slightly higher than the rest of the valley, facilitating cooler temperatures and incredible views.
The Troon community is made up of about 1300 home sites that are varied to include non-gated, gated and guard-gated subdivisions. These subdivisions include single-family residential homes, town homes, custom spec and semi-custom homes. People wishing to reside there are spoilt for choice when it comes to living luxuriously within the area. Two-bedroom townhomes are comfy and ideal for coupes or small families. Bigger homes are available that have sprawling floor plans and kitchens, which are perfect for growing families. The area is surrounded by beautiful views such as the Troon Mountain, Sonoran desert, the McDowell Mountains and the Pinnacle Peak.
Located off Happy Valley and Pima Road, the Troon community is roughly seven miles from the 101. In addition to being close to nature, this tranquil location is easily accessible to highways, amenities and nearby shopping centers. Residents have access to neighborhood pools, more than five recreation centers, fields and parks for children to enjoy, a sports complex, equestrian trails and hiking facilities. Tourists will find the village’s condo rentals spectacular as they have their own special community. These rentals are a combination of the old-fashioned existence of past eras and the new recreational prospects that would be appealing to all tourists.
At the epicenter of the Troon community is the clubhouse that was opened in 1986. With an area of 50,000 square foot, the clubhouse is the ideal site for many family and holiday gatherings. Residents are offered five dining options that range from quick meals after a golf round to formal dinners in private dining areas. Social clubs can also meet in the area. Since Troon community is a sister club to Scotland’s Royal Troon, excursions to the country are organized annually.
The Clubhouse hosts several sporting facilities such as a swimming pool, a basketball court and a fitness center. There are also several hiking trails within the village for those wishing to explore the desert’s beauty. To cap off the day, residents can get a massage at the spa. There is very popular Arabian Horse Show that puts on display some of the best thoroughbreds in the country. Residents can also go to the Jaycees’ Parada Del Sol where they can watch Western rodeo tricks and listen to Spanish music.
Troon Golf and Country Club is among the area’s most prestigious private golf clubs. It is often ranked by leading golf publications as within the top 100 golf courses in America. It has always delighted residents who love golf, whether they are beginners or those with experience. To be a member of the club, one does not have to be a resident of Troon Village. However, a membership committee must approve any applications to join the club.
